Friendly servers, like Cupcake and Bey, add to the warm dining atmosphere, providing attentive service that makes customers feel valued.
Another crowd favorite is the club sandwich, layered with fresh ingredients and served on toasted bread, which consistently garners praise. The hand-patted burgers and crisp chicken tenders stand out, with many touting them as the best in Pooler, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to comfort food excellence.
Most Disliked
While Henry's is well-loved, there are a few concerns from diners. Some guests note that the busiest times can lead to longer wait times for a table, particularly on Saturdays, so arriving during off-peak hours might enhance the experience. Additionally, a few reviews mention that the breakfast buffet can be less appealing when it's nearing the end of service, as choices may dwindle. Overall, these critiques highlight the need for early visits to fully enjoy the expansive menu.
Another minor concern is the lack of extensive dinner options, with some customers expressing a desire for a broader selection in the evening, although breakfast and lunch remain the primary attraction of the restaurant.

Sort of a hidden gem with the location, passed this restaurant often. Pleasant experience today. No wait, quick service, reasonable wait for the food. The food was good and affordable. This was the first place that I did not have to dump salt/pepper into my grits. I was very impressed with that. The friendly waitress/host Cupcake did a great job multitasking. This is one of a few places my S/O said he would return to. (Critiques very hard 🙂)

Food was great and server was amazing. Breakfast buffet was available but because we were passing through, we opt for menu items. Price for buffet and menu items were great. Highly recommend

We ventured to this place on a whim. It was a fantastic find and will return when in town again. Food was quick, hot and delicious. Service was equally as good and my drink cup never was empty. Burger was great- handpatted and thick. Grits were fantastic, even better than Metro Diners. Pancakes were devoured quickly. Philly cheese omelet was awesome.

If you’re looking for the perfect lunch spot, look no further!! This place absolutely nails it. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, the food and service will leave a lasting impression. We were traveling having left North Carolina headed back to Florida when we found this place. It will now be our regular stop when passing through. Bey (our waitress) was so friendly and sweet. She gave excellent service! The club sandwich is stacked high with fresh ingredients and served on perfectly toasted bread. Every bite is the perfect combo of crunch, flavor, and satisfaction. The chicken tenders were crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. They’re known for a reason, and honestly, they might be the best in town!

This is a good food, no frills, no BS type of place. They have a small buffet and it is popular, but I order something off the menu usually. There burgers look quite impressive. I have not had one yet.

I grew up in a small town with almost all the establishments being ma & pa owned where people knew each other on a personal level. Essentially Mayberry RFD. That sense of community has largely been replaced with corporate ownership. At Henry’s, I get the same vibes I was accustomed to growing up. Personal, warm, and polite, like you are their neighbor. I had breakfast this morning and the young waitress brought me a mini pancake stack with a candle while two others sang happy birthday. This was a throwback to my youth. It took me back to a simpler time. You can’t find this in an establishment where they shout out “ticket number 27, your order is ready.

It is a clean , fast, diner with low prices. The service was great, waited on right away, food came out quick. I wanted a grilled cheese and fries, came out nice and crisp for only $6.50.
